Yolanda Hurd
RN, WHE, HN-BC
(Greencastle, Hagerstown)
Yolanda is our board-certified Holistic Health Nurse and Whole Health Educator.Yolanda has been an RN for years, with experience in Medical/Surgical, Long-Term Care, Behavioral Health and Hospice/Palliative care nursing.
For years she experienced her own health challenges however, it was not until she began to understand and focus on her health and wellbeing through a holistic, integrative approach that she was able to get to the root of the issues and find the pieces of the puzzle that led her to WHOLE health and healing.
She is passionate about utilizing her education and experience to coach and support clients, wherever they may find themselves, on their journey toward enjoying a healthier lifestyle.

Kimberly Peterson
M-HYI, TS-HYI, K-HYI
(Greencastle)Kimberly is a Master Yoga Instructor with over 700 hours of training. She completed her initial 225-hr training with Holy Yoga in 2012, and continued with certifications in trauma-sensitive yoga, chair yoga, pre/postnatal yoga, yogalates, yoga with weights, kids yoga, touch for yoga, and Human Performance for Athletes - under Katherine Roberts. She has taught Christ-centered yoga to all ages - from toddlers to Seniors - and loves sharing God’s Word from her mat.
Because of her own experiences with trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and the way God used Holy Yoga to help her heal - She has a passion to share the healing benefits of yoga, and help her students find complete healing—mind, body, and soul. She loves having the honor of nurturing her students’ prayer lives, and leading them into the peace and rest found only in the presence of God.
She manages Mind, Body, Soul Care Yoga, and Simply Natural, a natural skin care line, and volunteers for a ministry called Baseball Chapel. She and her husband, Dean, have three amazing boys, and spend a lot of time with them at the baseball field.

Kendra Shingler
RMP
(Greencastle)Kendra specializes in Swedish and deep tissue modalities, and she is working toward certification in the Stephenson Method. She became interested in alternative health modalities and the connections between mind, body, spirit while she was in high school.
In 2009, Kendra graduated from the Synergy Healing Arts Center and Massage School. She is a Registered Practitioner in Maryland and a Licensed Therapist in Pennsylvania.
Kendra’s ambition is that as each client concludes a session, they are relaxed and have more peace than when they arrived.

Sara Repp
Board Certified Mental Health Coach
(Hagerstown)
Sara is a Board-Certified Mental Health Life Coach with a Certification in Biblical Counseling. She has the following to say about her role here at HOPE, “I believe that nothing in life is in vain and truly everything that begins in ash can be made beautiful and used in a way that brings fruit and restoration to the soul. It is my desire to see people find and reach their fullest potential and discover that their journey, although sometimes painful and difficult, can still bring them to the place they were destined to arrive.” -
Christina Truax
MA, CNHP, CECP
Chris is a board-certified Natural Wellness Practitioner, Certified Natural Health Professional through Trinity School of Natural Health, and Certified Emotion Code Practitioner through Discover Healing with Chiropractor, Dr. Bradley Nelson. She also has a certification in mindfulness. Previously, Chris was a foreign language teacher whose master’s degree focused on how brain development, culture and environment influence language learning.
Concern over issues from the past or anticipation of the future can contribute to imbalances. Through life’s experiences, Chris has discovered how the balance of mind, body and spirit aligns with our innate desire for well-being. As a holistic wellness educator, she hopes to guide others to recognize their body’s signals and manage daily habits such as diet, hydration, sleep, exercise, and stress levels. She is passionate to come alongside, helping encourage ways to reduce stress, support and enhance digestion, increase energy levels, and work toward optimal health and healing.
